ALBUM REVIEW: Super Junior 4th album BONAMANA

This is Super Junior's 4th album after their third album release last year about 1 year and 3 months ago. This album is the last installment to the genre "SJ FUNKY" this album brings in a lot of new sounds from Super Junior. From upbeat pop, rnb, to ballad and happy songs! This is definitely a sweet treat for ELF's.

1. Miinah (BONAMANA)


This track for me is a very strong and powerful track. It is catchy as hell and definitely an LSS. It makes you want to get up and shake your thang. What I like about his is that the other members were given more lines like Heechul, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk. It's a very upbeat song and unique as well. It's one of the best tracks in the album and I can definitely smell an all kill on music charts with this song.

2. Boom Boom


This is their follow up track. It's a powerful upbeat song like Bonamana. It's very different, something Super Junior hasnt done in their 3 previous albums. I love how Kyuhyun's voice fit this song and Eunhyuk's rap. It's another dance song. Super Junior sure has matured in their musical side. Just like bonaman it makes you want to dance around in your room!

3. Coagulation


The first thing that went on my mind is that: This is a weird title for a song. This is a slow ballad song with a nice piano melody that went beautifully with Ryeowook, Yesung and Kyuhyun's voice. Okay, Im not a fan of ballads but this one is okay, It's a good song to sing you to sleep when your mellow.

4. Your Eyes


This is a nice soft and rnb song. It has a nice slow beat and and Super Junior's sultry voices went well with it. This album sure has a lot of ballad songs in it. It has a nice melody and sounds very romantic. Also, this more of a K.R.Y. track in the song cause their voices blend well in this kind of songs.

5. My Only Girl


THIS IS MY FAVORITE TRACK IN THE SONG. The intro gives me goosebumps seriously. This is the best song in their track for me. This is a rnb song that's more up beat. The chorus sure is lovely. This a very nice track and very unique. I havent heard a track quite like this. There is a flavor of each member in this song. Right now im already dancing in my chair listening to this song and writing about it :) Two thumbs up for this track.

6. My All Is In You


This is an rnb track. Sort of ballad-ish but it's a beautiful song. It's a bit upbeat song, the chorus part "I cant live without you my only..." part was very beautiful. This is a pretty romantic song, and It kinda puts a smile on my face. This is definitely the song you can fall in love to.

7. Shake It Up!


Ah~ My second FAVORITE SONG. It's kinda similar to My Only Girl. The intro is very nice, plus the beat is really catchy. The whole song is very upbeat and it has that thing that makes you happy and feel like floating in the air thing. Eunhyuk's rapping part was also nice with the trumpet touch in it. This track is very happy and upbeat.

8. In My Dream


Another ballad in the album. A slow song with piano and violin action going on. This song is really inspiring. It's a beautiful track and their voices blended well on this song. This is the kind of song that plays on sad scenes on drama's. A good OST song.

9. One Fine Spring Day


This is the first time Ryeowook get's a solo song in the album and believe me the song is just beautiful. It's a ballad which is the perfect genre for Ryeowook's voice. It's a lovely song that will surely melt the hearts of Super Junior Fans out there.

10. Good Person


This is one happy song! The type of song that will uplift your mood when you are sad! It's a slow song that has a happy beat in it. Their vocals are very nice on this song and It's reminiscent to the first year's of Super Junior. Like you get that vibe on this song on their first years as Super Junior, like Happiness or something. But it brings back good memories :)

11. Here We Go


This is the last track in their album and it's another happy song! Like it has that happy beat that makes you happy :D This also reminds me of their early days. I see sunshine, a beautiful meadow, rainbows and Super Junior holding balloons dancing and jumping with smiles on their faces. It's a happy track in deed.


After so many hardships, Super Junior is now on their 5th year since their debut. It's been a long road and Im pretty sure ELF's out there are supporting Super Junior in everything they do! Please do buy the album VERSION A on outlets that count's it on the charts thingy!

Overall, my rating would be 4.5 out of 5.0

The song has a lot of good songs in it, upbeat tracks, ballads, rnb and happy songs. This is Super Junior's 4th album and it sure is a good album with good songs in it. They have matured a lot for this album such as bonamana and boom boom. This album brings in a new Super Junior that tried out new things.
