In Korea they called it Tteokbokki or topoki. May is month of festival in Korea. Have you heard about Tteokbokki Festival? Tteokbokki Festival is a festival where they have competitions on making tteokbokki.

What is tteokbokki?

Tteokbokki is a sweet and spicy food with variety of vegetables, fish cake, and rice cake. It's commonly a street food in Korea. You can also have them in a Korean restaurants.

I had this once long time ago and its really spicy. While your eating, it feels like your tongue will explode but once you eat it, you will like the sweetness and the spiciness at the same time. My favorite ingredients are fish cakes and rice cakes. You will feel that rice cakes just melts in your mouth and fish cakes are just awesome. Tteokbokki makes you speechless from spiciness and tenderness. Is your mouth watering?? Try some and I know that you will like them.
